About Meryl Kieffer

Meryl Kieffer was born in South Florida. Her artistic process began as a child with her upbringing near the Everglades, and her love of wildlife. She is a contemporary sculptor and mixed media Artist. Her primary source of inspiration comes from various bird species and her family pet conure named Coco. Her art is characterized by vibrant colors and contrasting textures. Meryl is also focus on using her art to bring awareness of human actions, and the impact it has on the world around us.

Meryl has exhibited her artwork in-group exhibitions at Barry University Gato Gallery. Meryl received Bachelors in Fine Arts with specialization in Painting and Drawing at Barry University in 2013. Meryl also obtained a Masters in Art Education at FIU. She now resides in the DMV area with her family.
